Supporting the IOAA community

IOAA Foundation

The IOAA Foundation is a registered non-profit organization which supports the IOAA, manages the IOAA website and publishes new publications. The Foundation organizes international activities and cooperation between team leaders and students as well as those interested in astronomy. We offer support for team leaders, competitors and newcomers. We nurture the beautiful astronomical science and try to invite countries which have not yet joined our community.

IOAA Junior

The aim of the IOAA-Juniors is to introduce early high school students to the marvels of the Cosmos and promote their knowledge in the area of Astronomy and Astrophysics. By participating in such international events, they have the opportunity to meet students with the same interests from all over the world.

Mission Statement

The main goal of the IOAA is to promote the growing interest in Astronomy and related STEM subjects, especially through the general education of young people, and enhancing the development of international contacts among different countries in promoting Astronomy and Astrophysics in schools. It is expected that, through events like the IOAA, more bright high-school students will be eager to study astronomy at the university level to become the next generation of astronomy and astrophysics professionals.
